Pixel 9 - Obsidian - with GrapheneOS installed, base apps package installed, 256GB* STORAGE, 12GB RAM
The Pixel 9 replaces the Pixel 8 — one of the most popular choices in the compact segment — as the new go-to option in this particular niche. Pixel 9 featues improvements across design, chipset, screen, camera and software.
The term ‘compact’ may no longer fit as the Pixel 9 is a little larger than the Pixel 8, featuring a larger 6.3" FHD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and a 30% max brightness increase.
The updated design now features two flat Gorilla Glass Victus 2 panels, a new flat aluminum frame (still IP68-rated), and a more prominent yet smaller camera bar with clear borders.
The Google Tensor G4 chip inside all new Pixel 9 phones contains 8 next-generation CPU cores, a faster GPU, more energy-efficient (and improved) modem and is coupled with more RAM.
The Google Pixel 9 has a 50MP primary camera that has 2x high-res zoom compared to the Pixel 8, in addition to a 10.5MP selfie cam, now with an autofocus lens. And there is a new 48MP ultrawide-angle camera with a bright autofocus lens.
